Bio

Miles Ronayne is an emerging Irish drummer & composer. Having completed his final year studying BA Jazz and Contemporary Music Performance in DCU - achieving 1st Class Honors - he has performed extensively as part of many ensembles, both domestically & internationally. 

He has studied under established international drummers such as Conor Guilfoyle, Jeremy Dutton, Sean Carpio, Kyle Poole and Matthew Jacobson to name a few.

He has performed with many esteemed international jazz artists such as Michael Buckley, Otis Sandsjo, Linley Hamilton, Cormac O'Brien, Johnny Taylor, Barry Donohue, Greg Felton, Alice Leggett, Peter Hanagan and Stephen McFarlane.

He has also recently moved to London in January 2026, where he has played in venues such as Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club with Phil Meadows, The Troubadour with Amelia Wilding and Cadogan Hall.

He has played at the 20th Bydgoszcz Jazz Festival in Poland in 2022, toured with his trio in Romania and performed annually at All Together Now and Electric Picnic.

He brings a unique and infectious spirit to any group or session he plays on. The future is bright.
